Accurathrash DCC Sound Speaker - 8 Ohm (Pack of 1)

This speaker has surprisingly good low frequency reproduction given its size and great sound quality. Very easy to install as well.

These are fantastic sounding speakers

Background on this is some people had issues with sound models. It was apparently tracked back to using 4ohm speakers instead of 8. I don't know the technicalities of it, and I personally haven't had any issues, but I opted to buy replacements for my sound fitted 37s "to be sure". I will easily be able to re-use the 8ohm speakers elsewhere.

Great sound, easy installation

Having acquired a secondhand Accurascale 97301 that was DCC ready, I wanted to add sound. This speaker was the obvious solution. Installation could not have been simpler with the lift-off roof panel, although routing the multitude of wires around the speaker inside the loco was awkward with my large fingers. Worked first time though, and sounds great.

Good quality speaker at a reasonable price. It's also extremely easy to fit.

Bought to replace the 4 ohm speakers in two of my Class 37 models. The sound now rivals that from my Class 66! Better than the original.

Good speaker, my ears can't detect much difference from the 4 ohm if truth be told, but sounds great.
