In the late 1970s some remaining Siphon Gs were transferred into Departmental traffic, particularly branded as Enparts, the Western Region’s fleet of vans used for transporting spare parts for locomotives and rolling stock from Swindon to the larger Motive Power Depots. They soldered on in service until 1985, making them a favourite pre-nationalisation favourite of the corporate blue era. Our latest "Accurascale Exclusive" covers the Siphon in this condition, suitably modified and decorated for this traffic.

Crisp printing and great detailing overall combine to make this Enparts van a must have, even for an SR modeller.
Fantastic highly detailed model with some very fine footsteps and under frame details. An incredible smooth runner with a great selection of addition couplings.
Brilliant model. Ideal for a short siding in a loco depot or fueling point.

Great rendering of an essential vehicle for any modern-ish large engine shed. I've already got a siding planned for it!
Slight quibble, the plastic running gear is vulnerable at the corners of the GUV, and I don't see how this can be avoided. One of mine has already needed to be gently pushed back into place. Good purchase, though!
I have a couple of the earlier versions of this model and the level of detail and the differences between them is amazing. Well done on another fine model
