This is a great decoder that matches the 37 well and is very flexible. It’s easy to fit and I’ve adjusted the CVs so that the various lights are on lower function numbers that better suits how I operate without sound. The function mapping needs some thought but is logical once you work it out. The only reason I’ve not given 5 stars is the packaging. Accurascale seem to have a ‘thing’ with large packaging. I just about get it for the locos where it protects against damage in transit but there’s no excuse for decoders. They can easily fit in a small Jiffy bag allowing them to go through the letterbox. Perhaps with a little bit of card for protection. But ESU ship them in a box large enough for maybe a dozen with a load of pointless plastic. Accurascale then put it in a box that’s massively oversized. What a waste of packaging, space in the van and an annoyance for the courier. Come on Accurascale, you are a trail blazing forward thinking company and you do care about sustainability. Please have a rethink about needless packaging.
Great detail runs really well, great addition to layout
Let's be honest, wagons don't get much simpler than this and there've been countless replicas of these metal boxes produced down the years by various manufacturers. But don't mistake widespread for commonplace. This is a gem of a model and once again the packs of three with non-consecutive numbers , helps you build realistic rakes of what is a must have for anyone modelling the BR years from the transition from steam to the 1980s.
So easy to bring these models to life. Easy to fit, easy to use. Wouldn’t recommend anything else
I was very pleased with this little novelty. This is the first time I have purchased a crew for any of my locos. When I saw that the printing process is now in full colour, I thought I’d give them a try. I am not disappointed, the colour is quite noticeable through the cab window, and the second man is realistically reclining with his feet on the desk. Well done accurascale. Now what about those 37’s?
Fantastic highly detailed model with some very fine footsteps and under frame details. An incredible smooth runner with a great selection of addition couplings.
In my opinion these Class 66 figures are the best yet from Accurascale. There’s definitely been a vast improvement in the quality of the figures since Accurascale first released crew figures. I’m sure this is down to improvements in the manufacturing process. Colours are now much more rich and don’t necessarily require additional painting. ‘Lazy Bob’ is my favourite and when he joined my fleet he very quickly settled himself into his duties catching a few 💤
I absolutely love Tractors & Tugs this is my 7th 37 from you guys and just ordered my 2nd 60, I have all the Bac#m@nn 37's and #ornby's 60's to date.
I'm so glad you guy came along and entered these on the market what with the price of the other manufactures doubling there prices in the last 5 years or so, I also have a pair of 66's and a 92 and don't really have any major problems with, all running great hopping to buy more in the future keep up the great work on the models you guys are Manufacturing for us Railway Modelers and Enthusiast
Does it get any better? Can it get any better? This is one beautiful looking locomotive and it sounds every bit as good as it looks.
Absolutely fantastic wagons with superb detailing, even the packaging is of a very high standard and on a par with the packaging used by Accurascale for their loco's. Now to get them along with the pack A that I purchased at the same time weathered and loaded with scrap. Well done Accurascale on another brilliant product.

Another winner from Accurascale with this beast delivered ex works last month.
The only thing I could possibly identify as a slight issue is I feel the British Railways totems on the bodysides could be a bit brighter as they look rather dull on the Brunswick Green paintwork. This may be prototypical as my other example purchased months ago, in the same livery, was the same with dull totems.
Thanks again team.
A great idea for each new model that comes out. Gives some realism to our Hobby.
What a beautiful model, in keeping with the strong traditions of Accurascale!
It’s the centrepiece of my growing departmental vehicles. The audio just sits so well with the busy environment of departmental working. Love it
