Detailed Description

Part of the ‘Transporting Britain’ range, these coaches were synonymous with the East Anglian commuter traffic heading in and out of Kings Cross, Moorgate and Liverpool Street, however their use extended beyond just the capital, being used across the Eastern, Western, Midland and Scottish regions.

  • Die-Cast metal chassis with plastic body for ideal running weight
  • Accurate, replica BREL BR1 bogies, with separate detailing where appropriate, brake blocks aligned with wheels
  • Blackened RP25-110 Profile Wheels set in to blackened Brass Bearings for smooth, friction free running on 26mm axles
  • NEM Standard coupling sockets with a kinematic close coupling system
  • Scale width wire handrails, water pipes and passenger communication gear
  • Separately fitted door handles and lamp brackets
  • Headstock pipes and cabling included
  • Fully detailed, die cast under-frame featuring vacuum cylinders, battery boxes dynamo and piping all separately applied
  • Easily removable, magnetically attached roof for easy access to interior for detailing and passenger fitting
  • Fully accurate, replica interior layouts, complete with highly detailed seating, and luggage racks, fully decorated
  • Interior Bulkheads featuring framed artworks

Another Accura Masterpiece

Once again Accurascale blows the competition out of the water in all aspects! The level of detail, fit and finish, lighting and price are all exceptional and continue to impress me. Every time I look inside these coaches I notice additional details from the luggage racks above the seats to the paintings on the walls of the passenger compartment. The lighting level is perfect and the stayalive eliminates any flicker whatsoever on dirty track.

Absolutely magnificent model, from the detailed interior with etched luggage racks to exquisite bogies and extensive brake gear. A very pleasing rendition of rail blue with perfectly applied rail alphabet numbers. And a very nice mass to the vehicle. Oh for some 3rd party figure packs to populate it…
