Part of the ‘Transporting Britain’ range, these coaches were synonymous with the East Anglian commuter traffic heading in and out of Kings Cross, Moorgate and Liverpool Street, however their use extended beyond just the capital, being used across the Eastern, Western, Midland and Scottish regions.

Absolutely superb, work of art

Stunning.

I received a set of 6 blue suburban along with a suitably matched Brush 2. They look, work and feel an absolute delight. Brilliant removable roofs if passengers are needed. Exchanging the couplings for closer magnetic ones has really enhanced the set. A total joy to see and run. Certainly beats competition coaches in every respect. Roll on the maroon ones.

As always grate detail, grate paint work, free running, grate interior, the bogies very realistic, all the separate fitted detail makes all the difference, a few of the spring dampers were slightly bent out of shape but a tiny bit of glue sorted that out. Had a problem with the lights , they came on but would not turn off , so it's gone back to accuascale and hopefully they can sort that out. All in all very pleased.

Simply the finest coach available.
There is one minor problem. The lighting is far too "white". Incandescent light is almost yellow, especially in "smoking" compartments. But I am willing to try a brown wash over the LEDs. Don't let that take away any glory for Accurascale in bringing these to market. Wonderful.
