One of the hits of our first Class 37 production run was D6704 in BR green with full yellow ends, which quickly established itself among the fastest selling versions and suprised us by outstripping liveries that we expected to be more popular. Thus we'd be remiss in not including a centre headcode version in the second run and our chosen subject is D6956, another stalwart South Wales freight machine. New to 86A Cardiff Canton in January 1965 and then to Swansea Landore in 1972, it was renumbered 37256 two years later and remained on the WR at Bristol Bath Road from 1983 until rebuilt by Crewe as 37678 in 1987. Another non-boiler loco, while this release shares the same nose configuration as D6600 it correctly rides on Deltic-style cast bogies.

  • Heavy die-cast metal chassis

class 37 Another Great Model

Yet again Accurascale delivery another highly detailed model. My Class 37 arrived safely with no detail parts floating in the packaging. The detail is amazing with DCC fitting made easy with the removal panel. I needed the ESU chip that Accurascale sell as my lenz chip was not compatible. Crew fitting is really easy as well just slide the body off.

Running is smooth at all speeds the only thing is with mine it's got a ticking noise in one direction after going round a curve? Other than that a great model.

Tremendous, Tantalising, Titillating "Tractor"

Another winner from Accurascale with this beast delivered ex works last month.

The only thing I could possibly identify as a slight issue is I feel the British Railways totems on the bodysides could be a bit brighter as they look rather dull on the Brunswick Green paintwork. This may be prototypical as my other example purchased months ago, in the same livery, was the same with dull totems.

Thanks again team.

Excellent 37

This loco is great. The paint and the fittings are excellent. The sound is good using the thrash decoder. Hope the class 30 will be as good

Class 37 (BR Green - Full Yellow Ends) D6956

I purchased another Class 37 from Accurascale (D6956), which looks very impressive in the BR Green, with yellow ends. As with my previous Class 37s, this model is very detailed and was well packaged for transit. Overall, I am very pleased with my latest purchase from Accurascale.

Best ever class 37 model

I have owned model class 37s since 1969. They are a particular favourite of mine. The Accurascale class 37 is by far the best representation of this iconic locomotive yet. I'm so pleased that I have two ! Looks are spot on, running is really smooth. Really well done !!

37 Magic!

I now have several Accurascale class 37’s including this one. They are all superb - all arrived intact with no loose parts and all superb runners. Looking forward now to the 30/31 which no doubt will be equally sublime. What I really appreciate is the lifetime warranty. Great to know Accurascale build models to last. Now how about a Jubilee or a Stanier 8f to Accurascale standards? Now that would be a thing!!!
